This policy explains what personal information Kwizar Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (“Kwizar”, “KwikM”, “we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers:
- the website kwikm.in;
- the Kwizar Admin staff app for our employees (Android package
com.kwikmstaff.app); - the KwikM Solar Mitra app for our Solar Mitras, distributors and super distributors;
- our internal admin dashboard used by office staff.
1. Who we are

- Registered office: Jangal Matadin, Near Geeta Vatika, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh
- Email: info@kwikm.in · Phone: +91 62633 71219
2. What we collect
Everyone with an account
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Name, mobile number, email address | To create and secure your account, sign you in by OTP or password, and contact you about your work or order. |
| Password or MPIN (stored only as an encrypted hash) and sign-in sessions | To keep your account secure. We can never read your password. |
| Role, branch, reporting manager, employee code | To decide what you may see and do in the app. |
| Notification token for your device | To send you alerts about leads, follow-ups and approvals. |
| Basic technical logs — IP address, device type, app version, time of request | To keep the service running, investigate faults and prevent misuse. |
Kwizar Admin (staff app)
Used only by our employees while they work for us:
- Attendance — punch-in and punch-out times, with the location of each punch.
- Field location while you are punched in, including in the background — see section 3.
- Battery level of the phone, shown alongside the location so a manager can tell a dead battery from a stopped app.
- Work records — leads, visits, meeting start and finish times, tasks, expenses and their receipt photos, payroll and payslip data, leave applications.
- Photos and files you choose to upload — site and document photos for a lead, expense receipts, and call recordings where permitted.
KwikM Solar Mitra app
- Your profile, commission, wallet and payout records.
- Leads and customer details you enter — see section 5.
- Photos you upload for a lead (electricity bill, Aadhaar card, site and roof photos, cancelled cheque or passbook) and the location of the site when you capture it.
- Fingerprint or face unlock, if you switch it on, is checked by your phone only. The biometric never leaves your device and we never receive it.
Website visitors
If you request a quote or use the solar calculator on kwikm.in, we collect the name, mobile number, location and system details you enter so that we can prepare a proposal and call you back. We also keep standard web server logs.
3. Location, including background location
Background location is collected only in the Kwizar Admin staff app, only for employees, and only between punch-in and punch-out. It is never collected in the KwikM Solar Mitra app and never from customers.
- What: periodic GPS points (latitude, longitude, accuracy, time) while a shift is running, so the office can see where the field team is, plan visits, and confirm that a visit or attendance punch happened where it was recorded.
- Why in the background: reps spend the day travelling with the phone locked, so the trail would be full of gaps if collection stopped when the app is closed. Android shows a permanent notification while this is running.
- When it stops: at punch-out, when you sign out, and when you revoke the permission.
- Your control: you can refuse or withdraw location permission at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Kwizar Admin → Permissions. The app still works, but attendance and visits will be recorded without a location, and your manager may ask you about it.
- In the Solar Mitra app, location is captured only at the moment you save a site survey or lead, and only if you allow it.
- To turn coordinates into a readable place name we send the coordinates to Google’s geocoding service. Map tiles on the timeline screen are loaded from OpenStreetMap.
4. Call recordings
Staff whose role allows it can upload a recording of a customer call to that customer’s lead, so the team can check what was promised and train new staff. Recordings are:
- uploaded by hand — the app does not record calls by itself and cannot switch on your microphone;
- stored privately on our servers, not in any public folder, and reachable only through a link that expires after a few hours;
- visible only to people who can already open that lead.
Anyone recording a call must tell the other person and follow Indian law on call recording. If you were recorded and want the recording removed, write to info@kwikm.in.
5. Customer information our team enters
To supply and register a solar system, our staff and Solar Mitras record customer details: name, phone, address, electricity consumer (CA) number and bill, Aadhaar number, site photos, and bank details for the subsidy. We use this only to design and install the system, raise the DISCOM and net-metering applications, apply for the government subsidy, invoice, and support the customer afterwards.
If you are a customer and want to know what we hold about you, or want it corrected or deleted, contact us using the details in section 14.
6. Why we use your information
- To run your account and keep it secure.
- To deliver the service: quotations, orders, installation, subsidy paperwork, service visits and payments.
- To manage our own workforce: attendance, field visits, targets, commission, payroll and expense claims.
- To send operational messages — OTPs, lead assignments, reminders, approvals — by push notification, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
- To improve quality and train our team, including reviewing call recordings.
- To keep the required books and records, and to comply with the law.
- To detect and prevent fraud and misuse.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share only what is needed, with:
- Government bodies and DISCOMs — for subsidy applications, net metering and inspections.
- Financing partners and banks — only when a customer asks us to arrange finance.
- Installation and service partners — the contact and site details needed to carry out the work.
- Service providers who run parts of our system on our behalf: our hosting provider (servers in India), Google (Firebase push notifications and geocoding), ZeptoMail (transactional email), OpenStreetMap (map tiles). They may process the data only for us.
- Professional advisers, auditors and authorities where the law requires it.
8. How long we keep it
- Customer and order records, invoices and subsidy paperwork: for at least 8 years, as required by tax and company law.
- Employment records (attendance, payroll, letters): for the duration of employment and for as long as the law requires afterwards.
- Field location trails: kept for operational review and then deleted; we do not need them long-term.
- Call recordings: kept while the lead is active and deleted on request.
- Accounts: when an employee or partner leaves, we switch the login off. Work they created (leads, notes, invoices) stays in our records because it belongs to the business and is needed for audit.
9. How we protect it
- All traffic between the apps, the website and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS.
- Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
- Access is controlled by role, so staff see only the records their job needs; sensitive files such as call recordings are served through short-lived signed links.
- Logins can be switched off immediately when someone leaves.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you and the authorities about a serious breach as the law requires.
10. Your rights and choices
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information — see section 11.
- Withdraw a permission you gave, such as location, camera or notifications, in your phone settings.
- Tell us to stop sending you marketing messages.
Write to info@kwikm.in from the email or phone number on your account. We reply within 30 days.
11. Deleting your account and data
To have your account and personal data deleted:
- Email info@kwikm.in with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address or mobile number registered with us, or call +91 62633 71219.
- Tell us which app you use — Kwizar Admin or KwikM Solar Mitra — and your registered name.
We verify the request, then delete your profile, login, device tokens, photos you uploaded and any call recordings you asked us to remove, normally within 30 days.
We keep what the law requires us to keep: invoices, tax records, subsidy applications and signed agreements, along with records needed to defend a legal claim. Anonymous or aggregate statistics that cannot identify you may also remain.
12. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child’s information has reached us, write to us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the apps.
